by Mercy Post Acute Group
The Mercy Post Acute Group in St. Louis, Missouri would like to honor Kathi Enger, RN, with a donation to the PALTMed Foundation’s Futures Scholarship Fund, in recognition of her many contributions to the field of Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine. Kathi led one of the largest Post Acute provider groups in Missouri for over 10 years, building it from a small group covering a handful of facilities to over 20 providers covering over 45 facilities in the region.
Kathi’s leadership and dedication impacted over 35 physicians and APP’s during her tenure, and the majority of those providers are still practicing in the PALTC space. She also tirelessly advocated for quality care, visiting nursing facilities regularly and fostering collaboration with the area hospitals and providers, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is very appropriate to honor Kathi with a donation that will help ensure that quality providers will continue to practice in the PALTC setting into the future. We are grateful for Kathi’s many contributions to Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine.
